SUMMARY

David is highly experienced in major infrastructure and civil engineering commercial disputes management within current buoyant international infrastructure markets. His experience spans client, PMC and contractor side management of dispute matters in advisory roles on major infrastructure projects leading to and involving Engineers Decision, Adjudication, Arbitration and supervision of strict claims processes for critical outcomes including supervision of Resident Engineer on behalf of the client under FIDIC forms. He holds an LLM Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration with further industry leading professional training in arbitration, adjudication, mediation, expert witness, P6 Planning software and BSI 31000 procedures for risk and operational planning. David delivers business critical advice and outcomes to board level and acts as an arbitrator.

He has experience of arbitrations under ADCCAC, DIAC and ICC procedures and is currently nominated and acting as an arbitrator on a three person panel. He has experience of adjudication in three different jurisdictions and was previously a Registered and Panel Adjudicator endorsed by the State Government. David no longer acts as an Adjudicator in any jurisdiction. David has excellent experience of arbitration in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Qatar and New Zealand.

David’s skills have enabled him to be involved with major infrastructure claims, disputes and arbitrations for projects in United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Turkey, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia with potentially locations to follow.
